Brain Bee is a young company on a mission to provide everyone with the opportunity to learn from the smartest people in the world. Brain Bee have created a rather unique platform that places knowledge gathered from their elite group of mentors and contributors, combined with cutting-edge technology, what they call "Brain Matter". A new way of learning & understanding topics more comprehensively which w ell, of course includes interesting facts and tidbits of wisdom for life. I had the pleasure of reviewing their platform and had an absolute blast! In this post I'll be discussing some key features you can expect from Brain Bee's e-learning platform as well as my personal experience using it. A Look at the Platform If you have ever visited a site that hosts a knowledge-base, then you should find the platform pretty straightforward as it is organized into different categories as well as featured pages which are curated for you based on your interests. I got started by visiting the featured topics page and from there picked a topic which I wanted to read more about. The first time I went to click on a topic, I was presented with a pop-up asking if I would like to try or buy. Naturally, I went with trying it out first because who knows maybe this really was going to be great! After clicking no, I was greeted with two options: "Begin reading" and "Sign up now". The platform is quite easy to navigate, but I did have a few issues. I found that the articles were very short, which I guess can be expected because most of the articles are curated with no longer than 300 words. On the other hand, there are also some very long articles in the "Timeless knowledge" category which feature 600+ words with tons of images. Though this may not seem like a big deal, sometimes it feels like you are being rushed when you are trying to read an article so you can end up losing important details or missing important information. Because of this, I often found myself clicking on the "Read more" button just to find out that what was in front of me wasn't even half done. There are some articles which you can go deeper into when you click the small arrow at the bottom right-hand corner of each article. To give you an idea of what I mean, here is an image where the arrow was clicked revealing more content. I found that these articles were very useful when dealing with subject matter that required a little more detail or had a longer history. One feature I really enjoyed while reading the "Timeless knowledge" category was the highlighting. When you activated the drop-down menu to select your preferred method, you could pick between three options: Highlight all words in blue - which is what I chose Highlight all words in red Highlight keywords with a dotted line - which would be really useful if you are looking for specific information A different experience when reading an article is that you can select any portion of that article and share it on social media or copy to use elsewhere. cfa1e77820
